That is in fact very unfortunate Rickey, u had him good... To me it looks like a typical intentional quit... but it could have just as easily been a CTD or a dropout... one thing is for certain, from this range and that altitude, he had almost no chance to dodge those ERs!

If this happens again, please post here and we will sort it out....

I certainly hope pilots don't resort to such lows just to save their stats....

thanx for posting it here Rickey!

We have added a new rule to our server rules:
Mid-air game exits from a disadvantaged position with the clear goal to prevent getting killed will be penalized with a crash.

For now, we will give the offender a warning.

Crashes to Desktops and or Drop-outs leave an obvious signature of a plane warping off the screen until the server decides there is no connection.

A perfect exit like in the tacview here can only mean one thing.

A CTD or dics also leaves a different signature in the mplog, which is not present in this case...

This is not true. Crashes to desktop can look exactly the same in an ACMI as a regular exit.

Was going to post this, but you beat me to it.
 Last night I got hit by a SAM and ejected, but I quit before the plan crash.
I Expected to see an eject/crash and negative points. But the stats had exit posted and my kill points.
Seeing how this could be used to avoid a negative to ones score when one deserves it, such as myself.
So I propose that an exit be treated the same as a crash.

Maybe it shoud be listed in the rules if you eject, wait for the plane to crash befor exiting, or you will lose the 5 points for ejecting.
